Location
The Mahayani compound is set in a small village not far from the main road from Seminyak to Tanah Lot. The location is very quiet and secluded, surrounded by rice fields, papaya, bamboo and coconut palms. You feel like being near Ubud, but you are actually in South Bali and close to the island's best shops and restaurants.
In spite of its very quiet and rural setting, it's only 10 minutes to Seminyak's most trendy restaurants such as Kafe Warisan, Lola, La Luciola, Ku de Ta, Hu'u, The Living Room, Trattoria and Mykonos. It's about 15 minutes to the "Bali Nirvana Golf Course" and the famous Tanah Lot temple, and approximately 25 minutes to Bali's international airport.
The Villa
Villa Maharaja was completed in late 2005. This beautiful L-shape villa has two adjacent buildings with roofs covered with wooden tiles. From the main entrance, you step into an open area which overlooks garden and swimmingpool.
On the right-hand side is the main building accommodating the spacious living and dining areas with large glass doors opening to the garden and swimming pool, a fully equipped kitchen and a guest toilet. There are comfortable sofas and a long wooden dining table seating up to 10 and perfect to entertain guests.
Bedrooms
All four bedrooms are air-conditioned and located in the two-storey building on the left of the main entrance. On the lower level is the spacious master bedroom located next to the stairs. It has a large sitting area and en-suite bathroom with two sinks, large bath tub and separate shower. Between the master bedroom and the pool is a guest bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom.
Via the wide staircase next to the master bedroom you access the upper level accommodating two more guest bedrooms with their own en-suite bathrooms. A large terrace overlooks the garden and pool and is protected from the sun by a canopy.
Facilities & Services
There are direct telephones in all bedrooms. All bedrooms feature private safes, and there are hair dryers in the bathrooms. The kitchen is equipped with all modern appliances including a large refrigerator and a microwave oven. The trained full-time cook, maids and security guards are available at all times and live in on-site staff quarters or nearby. There is a back-up power generator and on-site parking for three cars.
Your personal Butler will take care of all your arrangements from planning meals, serving your afternoon tea, and arranging parties in your villa to visiting attractions, going shopping or organizing other activities and is available around the clock.
Your air-conditioned car with a reliable driver is included in the rates and at your service whenever needed.
